Results of monitoring show there is no apparent potential exposure to asbestos. No further actions are required. These findings are based on operations and practices in effect at the time of monitoring. DISCUSSION Employee monitoring for potential exposure to asbestos in the Brake Inspection operation was conducted October 12, 1989. The employee was performing the standard procedure for inspecting brakes and employed the proper personal protective equipment along with a HEPA vacuum for brake dust removal.
