Dear Mr. Schramm:
Ref.: Letter, Jack J. Schramm, EPA To J. L. Worstell -October 20, 1978
It appears that answers to the first three questions in your letter have been provided in earlier information submitted by Union Carbide Corporation. Copies of related correspondence are attached.
The source of vinyl chloride is Dow Chemical Company. Dow certifies their product to be 99.9% pure.
I believe that recent conversations between Mr. Peter Schaul and Mr. W. C. Young of this Department have further clarified this matter.
Very truly yours
JLW/pl
