Berteau - A2SC For purposes of answering questions on whether PCBs cause cancer or reacting to the NCI's recent studies, may 1 use any or all of those statements: -- "The National Cancer Institute has determined that Aroclor, Monsanto's PCB, is not carcinogenic in a 2-year animal feeding study." -- "The recent National Cancer Institute chronic rat feeding study parallels results of other toxicological tests that conclude PCBs are not carcinogens." -- "There is no conclusive evidence that PCBs cause cancer. In 1978 the National Cancer Institute reported in a 2-year chronic rat feeding study that there was no direct link between PCBs and cancer in the test animals."
