KEHOE, Cineinnati, Ohio. Dear Dr. Kehoe, Attached is an additional report received from Don Phipps in reference to the Orange State affair at Tampa. I attempted to call you this morning in order to determine whether or not this report would in any way change your report which I received in the mail this morning. I talked with Dr. Schradin and advised him of the situation and he informed me he would see that the information got to you. r!y thought was you might want to revise your report to include this informa tion. If this is the case, you can send a new report to me at the Tampa Terrace Hotel in Tampa, Florida, where I will be until Friday of this week; or to the Columbus Hotel in Hiami, Florida, after that. I might add that in investigating the whereabouts of Harvey Bennett, Hr. Phipps took pains not to impart information as to why he was interested in this data. So far as we know, the Orange State Oil Company and ourselves are the only ones who have been in any way concerned about this man's welfare. I would be very much interested in knowing what position you think we ought to take with the Orange State Oil Company in regard to this man. I am at present engaged in some work with the Sinclair Refin ing Company which will take me to several points in the week, finishing up in Tampa on Friday. It is my present plan to go on to Miami from there and handle the matter in accordance with our discussion in Hew Orleans on Monday morning. This is the reason for my advising you of my route in the event you wish to change your report. Very truly yours. j a c /f .l Costello MIAMI FLORIDA March 23, 1940 Mr. J. A.
