The purpose ofthis Request is to obtain information to determine the City of San Antonio's compliance with their Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4).permit; specifically, how you have implemented your Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) to reduce pollutants in storm water discharges to the Maximum Extent Practicable. The Request includes the MS4 .Self-Assessment (Assessment) to obtain specific information about your SWMP. The Assessment contains an Introduction and fourteen modules, which can be accessed at this web link: http://www.epa.gov/recion6/6en/publicms4.html. If you are unable to access the modules using this link, please contact the Enforcement Coordinator. Your response to the Request niust be post-marked no later than thirty days from the date of this letter. Compliance with this Request is mandatory. In conjunction with the Assessment, EPA, Region 6, in cooperation with your permitting authority, may conduct an on-site visit and/or conduct an inspection of your MS4 owned and operated facilities. Please be advised that failure to respond to the Request within the thirty-day period or to provide full, complete, true and correct responses, may result in the filing of an enforcement action by the U.S. Department of Justice seeking the issuance of a court Order directing you to properly respond to the Request.
