OHIO April 6, 191+8 Dr* Robert Kohoe Kettering LaboratoryUniversity of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio Dear Dr. Kohoe: : Several weeks ago I had occasion to use the Methy lene Blue method on blood smears for lead poisoning. This had been given to me in the early fall by Dr. M. M. Shafer. I made up the stain at that time and had had no occasion to use it until this time. I had very poor results then, and made up a fresh supply. This worked beautifully. Does the stain deteriorate on standing? I also wondered if you have any further reprints or ;information on this method. I shall greatly appreciate any information you can give me. Sincerely yours, Arlene Parks, M.T. ASCP 4 N6186
