Kehoe Kettering Laboratory of Applied Physiology University of Cincinnati Dear Dr Kehoe; Through a period of time I have become interested in the field of public health and sanitation and particularly in the industrial hygiene phase of it. Dr W.E. McCormick, Industrial Hygienist of the B.P. Goodrich Company and Mr Frederics of the Goodrich Personnel Office advised me to get in touch with you. Dr McCormick said that without experience it would be possible to gain employment in this particular field:. I know that there are several schools in the country which offer such courses. Some of these schools though demand three years experience in the field, and some do not. Eventually I would like to go to graduate school but preferrably would like-to-get some experience in the field first for I haven't had any experience at all. My qualifications are limited. I shall graduate from the University of Akron in Shine, 1949 with a Bachelor of Science degree. My major is Biology (47 semester hours) with many credit hours also in chemistry and physics. I've also had some basic en gineering subjects.
