May, chairman of the American Can Company, and John P. Schroeder, senior vice presi dent of the Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. Mr. May, who is 51 years old and a native of Chicago, also is a /director of the Bankers Trust Company, the Great American Insurance Company, M&T Chemicals, Inc., and the Chromium Cor poration of America. The executive was graduat ed from University of Roches ter in 1937 and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Mr. May joined American Can in 1938 and became chairman in 1965. Mr. Schroeder is 48 years of age, a native of Montclair, N. J., and a graduate of Yale University. He joined Morgan Guaranty in 1945 and was elected senior vice president in 1963. He is now in charge of the national group in the general banking division. Mr. Schroeder is a director of the Phelps Dodge Corpora tion and the Mountainside Hospital in Montclair.
