To ensure that the appropriate individual within the Department of Energy is participating in your event and because the Office of the Secretary is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards, we need the information requested below before we can agree to confirm a speaker.

Attendees are diverse across the power sector ecosystem including energy suppliers, electric grid operators and large industrial customers. While they each have unique perspectives all are focused on affordable and reliable energy to support increased electric load growth associated with data centers and reshoring of manufacturing. No- it is an invite only event of distinguished energy industry CEO's and Senior Executives consisting of utility leaders, hyperscalers, technology providers, regulators, finance and academia While not officially listed, we have received confirmation of the following speakers:

- Darryl Willis, Corporate Vice President of Microsoft's Energy & Resources Industry, Microsoft
- Javiere Fernandez, President and Chief Executive Officer, OPPD
- Jim Burke, CEO, Vistra - Chris Womack, CEO, Southern Company - Pablo Koziner, Chief Commercial Officer,
GE Vernova EPRI Board Members including our Chair, Vince Sorgi, CEO of PPL
US priorities to enable significant electric load growth for AI and reshoring of manufacturing while ensuring affordable and reliable energy system of the future. In addition, any remarks relative to how AI applications can enable affordability and reliability. This will be a keynote format consisting of 20 minutes of prepared remarks. A 10-minute Q/A session could be added, for a total of 30 minutes, if the secretary was interested.

Yes, EPRI is a 501 (c)(3) organization that was formed in 1972 to conduct research on behalf of the energy industry. EPRI does pursue DOE funding opportunities (FOA's) and is currently working on several projects that it was awarded with its partners.
