The Facility has been issued a permit to operate a OWDF by WDEQ. The Facility includes one evaporation pond, a tank battery and a tanker truck offload area. The evaporation pond includes the use of a bird deterrent system known as "bird balls," which block access to the evaporation pond. OPENING CONFERENCE No opening conference was conducted because no site representatives were present at the time of the inspection. The facility gate was closed at the time of the inspection, so the evaporation pond and other equipment were viewed from outside the gate. Data Collected and Observations: During the inspection I observed that bird balls covered most of the surface area of the evaporation pond. No RCRA concerns were noted at the site.
