J Sheehan, Plant Manager, R,, 3. McGranahan is transferred from Division Staff to Chief Facilities Engineer, Chicago Gasket Plant, Bob assumes responsibility for Plant Engineering, Maintenance, and Tool Engineering (Depart ments 267, 275, 277, 283). He reports to W. J, Sheehan, Plant Manager. George M,, Brown is transferred from Chief Facilities Engineer to Superintendent Area I. This comprises the first floor operations, i.e., Departments 214, 215, 217, 226, 261 and the warehousing, Department 202. He will report to D. R. Tarne. John Struzina is transferred to the main floor toolroom. Department 261, and will report to G: K, Brown. Steve Ruzich is transferred from Foreman, Toolroom (Department 261, to General Foreman, Production, reporting to E, Balcar. Leo Dymitro is appointed Quality Control Manager for the entire Chicago Gasket Plant. All inspection and raw material testing functions report to him and he reports to D. R, Tarne. All the functions of Departments 273, Labor Standards, 270, Cost Estimating and 268, Process Engineering, have been consolidated into one department. No.248, industrial Engineering.
