The first point for your attention is the Penetration Index Test which has been three years in development A measure of the amenability of a sample of asbestos fibre to absorb oil is measured by this procedure by the ease of a ball to descend through a mixture of oil and Fibre As Chairman I recommend the adoption of this test 2. A request by the Directors was received for a scale of rater for drawings of apparatus developed by C.A.M.A. member companies Although the scale is modest it is understood this covers the expenses of our Quebec Office No recommendation can be offered on this scale as divergent views were expressed by the committae = See Appendix attached 3. _ .
