Publicity on Safety Performance 3676 Newspaper articles on our excellent safety performance have been published in the Texas City Sun, Galveston Daily News, and the Houston Post. This information has been submitted to Monsanto World News and has also been published in the Texas Chemical Council Minutes. LAM015425 PMSB Minutes of Meeting--September 26, 1985 Page 2 B. Annual Safety and Housekeeping Inspection Pictures have been taken and will be shown to Expanded Staff concerning the condition of the plant for the Annual Safety and Housekeeping Inspection. This inspection will be held October 8-9-10, 1985 and will include members of the media and city officials on the Inspection Team. C. Entry into HHM Areas In order to assure that proper attention is focused on this item, a SHAC ALERT will be issued highlighting the areas involved and procedure required. 0. Exit at West Gate There is some concern that bolt cutters will not be available to cut the chain in case of emergency to allow egress from the gate. The Hourly Safety Committee will review and make a recommenda tion. E. MESH Program The Monsanto Exposition on Safety and Health (MESH) was held September 25th at Nessler Center.
