Apologies for the problems with the last meeting.
Could we please arrange to meet on 13th July to discuss potential PFOA releases at the AGC site. This is in in response to the analysis by the Times and our monitoring which shows elevated PFOA levels in local fish, the River Wyre and in the Greater Manchester area.
Can I suggest as an agenda;
1 Update on any monitoring information AGC has on PFOA releases from the site or on PFOA levels in the local environment.
2 PFOA use and potential releases from the site.
3 Next steps.
The following monitoring information is potentially relevant to our discussion.
1 PFOA and PFOS in fish showing elevated levels on the Northwest coast compared to the Northeast coast.
2 Scan monitoring data from a location that is very slightly upstream from the AGC discharge point. Password is AGC_chemicals_Jun_22 This is semi quantitative GCMS LCMS scan monitoring data, excellent for presence, less accurate for concentration. For comparison I have pasted below the top PFOA monitoring results for 2021 (fully quantitative). The results for the Wyre would be inside the top five PFOA monitoring results for 2021. Ill caveat that statement as scan data is not particularly accurate with regard to concentration.
