February 1, 1994 Dear Vinyl Chloride Research Coordinators: CanTox, Inc. has discovered a mistake in the units of one of the values reported in the comments prepared by CanTox on the ATSDR "Substance-Specific Applied Research Program Priority Data Needs for Vinyl Chloride." In section 2.1.1.5 (VCM in Water; Page 6) on the last line of the first paragraph, it reads: "...groundwater concentrations ranged from 0.75 to 0.023 mg/L (Goodenkauf and Atkinson, 1986; CSDHS, 1990)." This should actually be: "...groundwater concentrations ranged from 0.75 pg/L to 0.023 mg/L (Goodenkauf and Atkinson, 1986; CSDHS, 1990)."
