KAYSER CANCER STUDY UPDATE 1956 - 1980 The Du Pont Medical Department has updated its ongoing cancer incidence study through 1980. Their summary states "no significant excesses were observed in the overall or primary-site-specific cancer experience of employees at the plant from 1956-1980. A brief explanation of the study is attached. This new information should be made available to employees in your Division according to our standard communication procedure (I/H #2, para. 111 -B). No formal documentation is necessary. Please keep a copy of this communication in all area I/H notebooks. You may be interested in reviewing the 2/4/80 communication to employees which addresses the brain cancer/"statistical 1y significant" issue in detail.
