Adams QUALITY CONTROL FOR MARCH, 1965 We have your memorandum o April 26 in which you mentioned that our average percent saturation for March on FSPM-1 was 170.8 as compared with Underwriters' minimum of 170. We were aware of this, of course, at the time, and made every effort to keep the saturation high. The main trouble was that we had some felt a little harder than usual and it was just harder to saturate. Hie difference in weight tests which we made for the month of March showed no failures and an average percent saturation of 179.4. For the month of April through the 26th our records show that we have averaged on shingles 179.2% saturation with 22.0% failures.
