-21- Vinyl Chloride-Vinylldene Chloride Copolymers By Conoflow For Vinyl Asbestos Floor Tile by W. G. MacPherson - C. D. Parker - F. M. Poindexter Date: May 29, 1957 Report No. EP-P-547 Charge No. 1254-02 Databook References: EP-938 EP-826 EP-944 EP-916 EP-917 INDEXING ABSTRACT This study is concerned with an attempt to produce a copolymer of vinyl-vinylldene chloride with properties comparable to VYHH,' a Bakelite resin. ST028391I Polymerization variables, composition distribution, polymer granulation and molecular weight control are presented and discussed. Physical properties of these resins, both alone and in floor tile formulations, are compared with VYHH which is at the present time the leading commercial resin in the field of vinyl asbestos floor tile.
