He inspected the roof with you on June 23, 1986. We understand Mr. Dickey of Giffen Roofing; was not able to be present for this inspection. Mr. Marsh informs us that the roof is in "good condition except for several areas that have developed ridges and the gravel surfacing has eroded away!'. He suggested your main tenance crew repair these bare areas with plastic cement and. sprinkle gravel over the cement. A copy of the photographs showing these..b'are spots is enclosed. There is one area of the roof that tends to collect water. Mr. Marsh suggests having "Giffen Roofing remove about 1/2 square that is low, re-roof and flash the metalAlso, "build up the area slightly to prevent ponding of water". Mr Marsh estimates the cost to be about $500 to make these repairs. If Mr. Dickey agrees, please send his expenses to us. We will deduct his expenses from the guarantee monies on the face of this bond. A copy of the photographs out lining the area to be repaired is enclosed for your review. A potential problem exists where an antenna is being installed on the roof. Bird is not liable for latent leak developing from the presence of this antenna. Thank you for your assistance.
