My dear Dr. Poattle:
You will probably remember our telephone conversation concerning an employee of the Associated Oil Company whom I believe ha3 a diagnosis of progressive muscular atrophy. You will remember that you requested information a3 to the source of our knowledge of the case.
The Ethyl Gasoline Corporation was advised of the case by Mr. Wm. P. Hugo apparently after an outside physician had suggested the possibility of leal as a cause and the letter was referred to us.
This was not an unusual procedure as refinery officials are generally aware of~our interest in these cases and very frequently advise us of any case where there is the slightest suggestion of a lead effect.
I appreciate your position in the matter and for this reason am glad to pass on to you the source of our Information*
Very truly yours.
