Guidelines for heels in tank cars are as follows: 1. No excessive heels can be dumped!!! 2. All Glycols and Dowanols cars can be dumped with 1" or less. Any more than this should be returned to the block for evacuating. 3. No Solvents can be dumped. 5 gallon buckets are to be used for catching small amounts of heels. Excessive heels require the car to be sent back to the block for evacuation. The 5 gallon buckets need to be marked for product when used. A. P.O. cars with 1,000 lbs. and less light wgt. can be cleaned. 5. E.O. cars with 500 lbs. and less can be cleaned. Any cars with more than 500 lbs. light wgt. will be returned to block for evacuation. 6. Caustic cars vrith 1" of heel can he dumped.
