This extension is necessary because more manuscripts are being prepared to report the conclusions of the SHS case-control study. Originally only two manuscripts were anticipated, now there will be four. (Dr. Wong has already submitted two manuscripts for review by SRP.) The proposal is for an additional $36,800 plus (the already budgeted) money to travel to Munich for the 2009 Benzene Symposium for a total of $46,880. The funds are available in the BHRC budget.
