When the changes and problems became evident in late January Mr. Rouse (UCC representative in San Francisco) visited with the state personnel involved and expressed our concern about the timing and possible unintended impact on the spraying regulations. He received an apparently sympathetic response, but no specific answers. Dr. Rhodes, Mr. Rouse and I plan to re-visit the state personnel in Sacramento and San Francisco on March 13 and 14, 1979 to learn what has happened.
