April 28th, 2017 Administrator Scott Pruitt U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 1200 Pennsylvania Ave. NW Washington, DC 20460 Dear Administrator Pruitt, On behalf of Growth Energy's Board of Directors, I would like to invite you to speak to the members of Growth Energy during our 2017 Advocacy Conference on September 12th, 2017. We will be hosting the conference at the Washington Court Hotel in Washington, D.C. This is our annual Advocacy Conference where we expect more than 125 ethanol producers, ethanol supporters, and farmers to be in Washington to advocate for the continued growth and success of homegrown biofuels. Growth Energy represents nearly 90 biorefineries across 18 states, as well as more than 80 cutting edge associate members involved in the biorefinery supply chain like Novozymes and Dupont. As Administrator for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), we would like to hear from you on EPA's plan and outlook for biofuels policy and deregulation of ethanol blended fuels. Specifically, our members would appreciate hearing directly from you on policies related to the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS), the annual RFS Renewable Volume Obligations (RVO), and the Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) regulation impacting consumer access to ethanol blends above 10 percent. We appreciate your time and consideration and would be happy to work with you to find a time that works best for you to speak on September 12th and the early mornings of September 13th and 14th. If you have any questions or need any additional information regarding Growth Energy or our 2017 Advocacy Conference, please contact Samantha Frith on our Government Affairs team at s frith@growthenergy,org or 202-545-4024. I hope you can join us in September. Thank you for considering this request. Sincerely, Emily Skor, CEO Growth Energy 17cv1906 Sierra Club v. EPA ED 001523B 00004217-00001
