Standard Oil Company.
Acknowledging your letter of the 10th instant, this case is definitely set for trial at Wilson, N. C., on ' Tuesday, the 20th instant. Wilson is on the mein line of the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad, and the best hotel there is the Hotel Cherry, at which we expect to make reservations, including one for yourself. The Coast Line operates through trains both from Washington and Richmond, with which you can make connection for Wilson, and the Southern Railway also Operates a line from Cincinnati to Raleigh via Asheville, N. C.
If you should come to Raleigh, we, shall be glad to take you over to Wilson on next Monday morning. Monday will be occupied in going over the case with our witnesses, and unless you wish to see and hear them in advance, include ing the doctors, your arrival on Tuesday morning will be in time.
Yours very truly,
