[Mary.Mendoza@haynesboone.com] 30th Annual Texas Environmental Superconference S u pe rB rol8W ebFinal.pdf Speakers, Moderators, and Planning Committee Members, Attached is a copy of the conference brochure that we sent to the printer. Below is a blast email that the Environmental and Natural Resources L aw Section of the state bar sent to its members today. Registration for the conference has begun. Please feel free to spread the word. As you know, we will register all speakers and moderators; planning committee members who are not moderators need to register themselves, but are entitled to discount rates-- government planning committee members may attend for free; non-government planning committee members may attend for government rates. As to the program, we'd hoped to have Deputy Administrator Andrew Wheeler as our lead-off speaker, but he regrettably will be unable to participate; we are looking for a suitable replacement. But we are fortunate this year to have a number of high level EPA speakers on the program, as well as prominent speakers from TCEQ, and are appreciative of the substantial support that EPA and TCEQ year-in-and-year-out give us. Thank you all for your willingness to participate in this year's conference! It will be a super one. haynesboone Jeff Civins Senior Counsel jeff.civins@haynesboone.com Haynes and Boone, LLP 600 Congress Avenue Suite 1300 Austin, TX 78701-3285 Ex. 6 (t) (f) (mi. vCard | Bio | Website 30TH ANNUAL ENRLS SUPERCONFERENCE THURSDAY & FRIDAY AUGUST 2-3, 2018 FOUR SEASONS HOTEL AUSTIN. Subject: 30th Annual Texas Environmental Superconference Speakers, Moderators, and Planning Committee Members, Attached is a copy of the current draft conference brochure. We are in the process of refining the graphics (e.g., we still need to format the Wednesday evening text), but the substance of the brochure should be essentially correct. We propose to go to print with the brochure next week--perhaps Wednesday or Thursday--and, therefore, ask that each of you review the portions of the brochure pertinent to you and, by close of business on Tuesday of next week, please inform my secretary, Trudi, copied on this email, if there are any corrections or revisions we should make. Points to check include: spelling of names of individuals and law firms or other affiliations; speakers' titles--for those in government; topic titles and subtitles; and sponsor names. As you will note, we've made a few changes to the prior agenda to account for the fact that EPA Deputy Administrator Andrew Wheeler is considering participating in this year's program. If you're coming in from out of town, please make your hotel reservations soon because our block fills quickly. Information regarding hotel registration is found in the draft brochure. Please do not hesitate to contact Mary Mendoza or me should you have any questions. Thanks all for your participation. We look forward to seeing you here in August. Given the lineup of speakers, it looks like this year's conference--our 30th--will be an especially memorable one. haynesboone Jeff Civins Senior Counsel jeff.civins@haynesboone.com Haynes and Boone, LLP 600 Congress Avenue Suite 1300 Sierra Club v.
