It is perfectly satisfactory to Dr. Means, to me and to Dr, Hunter to have him appointed as an assistant in the School of Public Health. This seems probably necessary be cause the lead fund is, I think, in the name of the School of Public Health. I do not know in what department he would be, however. Thank you for putting Miss Virginia Butler down for a salary of #1200 a year. Unfortunately she has not yet received her cheok down here, so that it is possible that something may be holding it up.
