Good morning Ryan! Congratulations on your new position and hope you (and Scott) are feeing settled by now. Scott is in great hands with you as Chief of Staff.
To summarize the email chain below, while the Gilcrease is restricted in its ability to loan original art from its collection to only accredited museum with temperature and humidity controlled environments, we would be more than happy to send reproductions of some of our best works of art. I'm advised by the registrar that while we have paintings in our display collection, they would not represent Gilcrease (and by extension, Oklahoma) well.
Without knowing the size of a piece or pieces that the office could accommodate, we could send you some digital photos and let you select a few for Scott to consider and select from. Also, I will be in DC on June 7-9 and could drop by to check out the office you are looking to accommodate if that would help. Would love to see you and Scott!
With all best wishes,

Susan
I am looping in Ryan Jackson. He can better answer these questions. Again, thank you for your help.

Michael,
Given our registrar's comments below, it might make sense to follow her guidance here. We could have them well framed and I think it would be difficult to see they are prints. This way Scott could have some our better works. What do you think...? Susan

Hi Susan, I think lending from our Display Collection would be appropriate; however, we have very few in the collection and they are not of good quality to represent us in DC. May he be interested in reproductions of some of our more famous works? Susan
