This is a high velocity system that does the dust collection at the point of origin, just as the blade leaves the material cut. A small compact tube is mounted directly below the blade slot and pointed upward. This draws a stream of air from above, which will be within the cavity of pipe covering, and seperates dust from the blade at that point. Under test conditions this system showed very little or no visible dust in the air and did fall well within the Federal guidelines at this time. It is a simple unit. Cost is about $350.00, f.o.b., Houston, Texas. Our very recent saws are equipped with the dust tube for this system, or we can supply tubes for any of our older saws, and for some of the other makes.
