COPY CRAIGHEAD, C017DEH, SMITH & SCHMACXE 714-721 uayton Savings Building Dayton, ohio. May IS, ly28. Mr. James McEvoy, Director, Patent Section, General Motors Corporation, Detroit, Mj_ch. Dear Mr. McEvoy Replying to your letter of May 15th, 1923, in reference to the natter of compensation to the nan named beg to say that there are a good many angles to this Matter, and it would be somewhat difficult for me to cover all of them in a letter to you. I note that you expect to fee in Dayton shortly, and I 7/ould then like to talk to you about this matter, personally. In the meantime, it seems to rne that it might be well to have this man examined by Dr. Brower and Dr. Eehoe, so that we can get a better idea as to what his present physical condition is, and whether he is still suffering from any effects of lead poisoning. The report of Dr. Brower and -Pr. Xehoe, I think, would help us very much In determining -what, if any, further compensation should be paid to this man. Please advise me whether you will authorize me to have this examination made. REC-AZ Yours very truly, (signed) R. E. Coy/den.
