Our concern is pxpressed for asbestos in brake linings because of several outside stinuli: 1. A proposed Illinois regulation: "The use of asbestos in brake lining of vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1975 and sold for use in Illinois is prohibited*. 2. Possible effects or the new Occupational Health end Safety Act of 1970 as regards asbestos in the work place. 3. Some concern for particulates in the air - particularly asbestos In the air.
