Scott Pruitt lnvitation.pdf
Dear Ryan, I'm writing to pass along the attached invitation from Arthur Sulzberger, the Chairman and Publisher of The New York Times, to Mr. Pruitt, for a keynote conversation at the upcoming New York Times Climate//Tech conference, to be held in San Francisco on November 28th and 29th in San Francisco.
The event will convene influential decision-makers from a range of fields related to energy, technology and policy -- corporate executives, venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, policy experts, and thought leaders -- to explore and assess bold, cutting-edge technologies to cope with a changing climate. As head of the EPA, we are sure that Mr. Pruitt will want to get in front of this audience to share his ideas and the priorities of the current administration with this highly influential group of industry leaders paving the way for the future.
If you could see to it that Mr. Pruitt get the attached invitation it would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to give me a call with any questions.
All best, Lena

Dear Mr. Pruitt,
I'm writing to invite you for a keynote interview at The New York Times' Climate Tech: Solving the 2-degree Challenge conference in San Francisco on November 29th and 30th. As head of the EPA, we hope you will join us to share your thoughts on the future of U.S. environmental policy and the current administration's approach to climate change, on the national and global scale, as this issue is of paramount importance to this audience.
We can promise you a powerful platform for sharing your views. Climate Tech will convene top entrepreneurs, VCs, business leaders and policymakers to explore the most promising innovations and solutions to the changing climate. We will highlight the cutting-edge technologies that could keep the long-term warming of the planet below 2 degrees Celsius, and examine the policies and financial strategies that are vital for these new technologies to succeed.
We are reaching out to the global figures who are most influential in paving the way for how we deal with a warming planet, and as the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, we know that your presence is invaluable on our stage. We would be honored to have you.
My colleague, Lena Shemel, will follow up with your team, and of course I am happy to answer any questions you may have.
We hope to see you in November.
Sincerely,
