PREPARATIONS:

Testsolutionwsere preparedfrom a stocksolution.A stocksolutioonf 500.8 mg/iwas preparedby stining0.5008grams oftheproductinI litroefgrowth medium. Otherconcentrationwsere preparedfrom thisstocksolution.
INCUBATION:
Testculturesof 50 ml were incubatedin 100 ml flat-bottomefdlaskson an orbitalshaker,3 replicatefsoreach concentrationT.estcultureswere moculatedtoabout 2000 cells/mflrom an exponentially owing moculum culture. The testwas run under continuouslight(> 50 Wm -sek)from fluorescenttubesofuniversalnaturalwhiteqW, ata temperatureof20 * 20C.
The testwas run forabout 72 hours,and subsainpleosf 5 ml were takenfrom thetestflaskseach day forgrowth measurements.Algal growth was measured by fluorescence.pH measurements were performed as indicatedon datasheet.
