Grumbles March 28, 1989 TOXICITY TESTING RECOMMENDATION FOR V-2100 VISTA The VTAC has reviewed the toxicity testing needs for V-2100 to be produced at Baltimore. Based on our review, described below, it is recommended the following testing be done: Primary Dermal Irritation Primary Eye Irritation The testing should be done as soon as "commercial grade" product is available. Based on conversations with the plant, I believe the April test run product will be appropriate. The constituents of V-2100 are known to show low irritation potential and exhibit low oral and dermal toxicity. However, the data we have for both is from testing in 1975. To assure us that the blended material will exhibit similar toxic properties and verify the quality of the 1975 data we are recommending at least dermal and eye irritation testing be done.
