I believe we are currently supplying asbestos paper to McCord here in Detroit, who fabricate this material into various gaskets for the auto industry. We are enclosing herewith a manifold type gasket, which we checked into sometime ago, and determined that we were not in a position to manufacture this type of gasket. I believe McCord laminate a resin impregnated asbestos paper with metal to form this gasket. This gasket was picked up at Ford yesterday in their Experimental Garage. It is our feeling that the gasket business is very competi tive, and generally the parts are relatively small which, of course, would preclude our die cutting unless we were to procure equipment such as Clicker or Thompson type presses.
