The certification provides verification that the CCR has been distributed to customers, and that the CCR's information is correct and consistent with the compliance monitoring data previously submitted to the EPA. The requirement to distribute CCRs to your customers is a cornerstone of the public-right-toknow provisions of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and serves as an important avenue to promote public involvement in decisions that relate to the qualityof their drinking water. Failure to prepare and submit the 2022 CCR Certification to the EPA by October 1st is a violationof the SDWA at 42 U.S.C. 300g-3(c)(4) and the National Primary Drinking Water Regulations (NPDWR) of 40 CFR 141.152-155 (Subpart O - Consumer Confidence Reports). Please take the following actions: (1) Complete the CCR Certification enclosed with this letter. This form may also be downloaded from our website at: http://www.epa.gov/region8-waterops/reporting-formsand-instructions-reporting-forms (click on the link for "Consumer Confidence Reports (CCR)"). If you have not yet distributed the CCR to your customers, please distribute the report to your customers as soon as possible and then complete the certification form.
