RESULTS
This installation has a 2K BTU/HR S-W heater using Dow A at about 6CK? to 6lOF. The data on the heater is as follows;
352 sq. ft. heating surface Working press - 200 psi at 700F 4" inlet & outlet pipe 0.237" wall thickness

Page I attached is a pretty rough schematic of the system as it now is arranged. Uo blanket is used on the system. They pull a vacuum on the system at startup.
My recommendations for the system are basically to use the vaporizer - . for the expansion tank* use the condensate pumps for continuous cir
culation through the reactors, and add a PEC to maintain mah header pressure. This suggested arrangement is shown on Page II.

4, Most of their reactors are piped to introduce Dow A at the top. Should we recommend repiping to have the inlet at the bottom? (I/m trying to keep revisions to a minimum)
5* Even if we can use the existing condensate pumps for recirculation, they will need one new pump because at present one pump Is used to handle 2 reactors.
6. Total 'system fill is about 10-12 drums, but with a T-66 liquid system we are talking about 15-13 drums.
