am assuming at this point the LO number is what we discussed except that the HPV costs have been removed? What was the basis for this? (Le., not sure what the allocation should be for the various areas or the total amount or ?)

Attached is an updated sheet on best estimates for 2004 (see end column dated 30 May 2003). Note these are best estimates as of this date, with the expectation of numbers with better confidence in about 1 month, as several ACC Panels have not yet finalized their 2004 budgets. In addition, there is still uncertainty regarding Shanghai benzene as well as Lower Olefins HPV charges ..
Other than that these numbers are fine..... I hope this helps.

I met with Peter Van Den Brakel earlier this week and we discussed the EG3 update which
will be due at the end of May. The EG3 will cover the 2003 latest estimates and the 2004
forecast. Can you provide any changes expected for the 2003 Tox latest estimate and we
will be inputing our first pass of the 2004 budgets as well. Peter is requesting this by the
end of May. This note is just a preliminary heads-up. I will forward you the official request
e-mail when it is sent next week.
