There will be a group of approximately six Kansas Farm Bureau members in Washington, DC on the morning of Wednesday, May 24 where we would be able to visit. Our main concern is the challenge of needing a prescribed fire to maintain the natural ecosystem of the Flint Hills in Kansas and the Osage Hills in Oklahoma and how smoke from these necessary fires impact the ozone and PM2.5 standards. Exceedances or violations of a national ambient air quality standard directly related to prescribed fires in the Flint Hills and Osage Hills is becoming a challenge to manage. 17cv1906 Sierra Club v.
