Tom, I know this is a voice from long ago but as you can see I have returned to government service and am the Deputy Assistant Administrator for Water At EPA. I would respectfully ask for your help. Per Administrator Pruitt's suggestion and as part of the Agency's due diligence, I am reaching out to you to determine if any members of your organization can provide American made products that would allow these projects to be completed without EPA having to issue a wavier under the American Iron and Steel provision of the 2014 Water Resources Development Act.
Given your experience with the Agency I am sure you can understand that we would ask for a timely review of the existing projects and an answer if your members are willing and able to provide the items necessary to complete these projects. Any assistance you and your organization might be willing to provide would be most appreciated.
