j... we checked in on biofuels, reporting that EPA is poised to soon issue the final version of its renewable fuel standard (RFS) rule for the 2018 compliance year following the White House Office of Management & Budget's quick five-day review of the rule, putting the agency to track to easily meet a Nov. 30 statutory deadline for Issuing the final RFS rule.
{Speaking of the White House, it has begun an inter-agency review of draft final EPA rules to delay implementation of Obama-era methane limits for new oil and gas equipment, after the agency's initial stay was scrapped in court as unlawful.
And our daily news roundup looked at EPA chief Scott Pruitt's schedule going back to April, which showed dozens of meetings with industry groups and mostly Republican elected officials.
