Robertson SUBJECT: Disposal of 3,000 Gallons VCM Bart: As a follow-up to our discussions: Venting the equivalent of 3,000 gallons of VCM to the IPH can result in several EP-related problems, both now and also in the future (e.g., RCRA considerations). An approach which will minimize these concerns is: - Let the VCM meather off to the IPH using the existing vent system. - Keep the vent rate below 18 pph (contained VCM). - Log, on a regular basis, the vent flow rate and the VCM concentration in the IPH stack gas (the on-stream analyzer).
