Koore: The Medical Department has recently become Interested in the extent of exposure to asbestos insulation dust at No. 2 Storehouse. It is felt that maximum exposure to these dusts may occur during handl ing operations such as tinloading and stocking a shipment of materials in loose form. Burlap bags of #302 rubberold cement and "asbestos float" and paper bags of #450 insulation cement comprise this group. I would like to carry out a study of the dust concentrations during the unloading of a shipment of asbestos cement.
