Ray Mann returned on April 29 after recovering frem a broken leg. On April 16th Junior Maynard entered the hospital for extensive tests resulting in major surgery the following week.

Safety and Community Relations
Mr. A1 Trommershausen, Director, Industrial Hygiene Services made a survey
of the Accessory Plant for air-borne asbestos. All employees in the Accessory Plant have been scheduled for an asbestos type physical. He also made a noise survey in the Board Plant.
One of the loaders reported that his new hard hat has saved a lump on his
head and that the rest of the crew working with him have requested hard
hats.

Ah elevator has been ordered for elevating the popper beads to the feeder bin in the Accessory Plant.
