Dear Mr. Forsgren,
I am writing to follow up regarding a list of projects with pending requests for waivers of Buy America requirements (attached). It is our understanding that one project on the original list (Jacksonville DWRF for uni-flange adapters, 14" and larger) is no longer on the list.
AISI appreciates EPA's diligence and its efforts to ensure compliance with domestic sourcing requirements in the Drinking Water and Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund programs. These projects will consume significant amounts of domestic steel, and it is important that they go forward without further delay. AISI has no objections to the remaining waiver requests for the projects on the attached list.
Sincerely, Tom Gibson
Thomas j. Gibson
