I agree that the report will be more Impressive when It la published, and it would seem to me, after all these years and the expense involved, that someone at Saranac would have sufficient interest that they would finish the Job. It is going to look bad after having done all this work in trying to establish faets that should be interesting to the publio and to the medical world if it is allowed to lie dormant until It becomes completely out of date. I know that you have been persistant In trying to get this job finished up, but I am wondering if you might give them the idea that we are being imposed upon and that it sight not be too such to the credit of the Institution to be so indifferent toward a matter of this kind. I am quite sure that unless you do put on the heat It will easily run through this year and probably Into 1950, based on what has transpired. This latter Is not Intended to be critical of you in any way but rather to be helpful in letting them know that there are some rather mean fellows in the Association.
