Dear Henris i I regret very much that I have "been delayed so long in returning the second draft of the paper on the Concentration of Lead in the Plasma. I have spent a good deal of time studying this paper and have re-examined it critically throughout, bot h as to form and content. My time L&s been so badly broken up during the past several weeks that it has been slow progress, but I have done my best. I believe the paper is in pretty good shape at present, although it is still too long in spots and it would still profit by some judicious pruning. You will note that I worked over the first page until it was nearly illegible and, therefore, I had it retyped. You will also note that I have written out some additions to the discussion in longhand fbr your consideration . I have doiie some work on the second paper, but again because of the scantiness of m y available time I have been unable to complete it.
