I am enclosing copies of the articles for which copies were requested. I am also enclosing a list of plants for the Updated Cohort for the follow-up to the Tabershaw-Gaffey study. Chiazze's studies were done entirely within PVC fabrication plants and, according to other documentation we have, the protocol specifically excluded plants in which both PVC fabrication and polymer production accurred. Therefore there would be no overlap with the Tabershaw-Gaffey study. In the other studies, however, there appears to be considerable overlap. Ott states in the paper that many of the employees he studied were included in the Tabershaw-Gaffey report. Buffler studied a Dow VCM production plant which, I believe,- was in the Tabershaw-Gaffey report. Nicholson studied the Goodyear Plant in Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Monson studied the BFG plants at Calvert City and Louisville, all of thich were included by Tabershaw-Gaffey. You asked about the BFG Long Beach Plant. This plant was started by American Chemical in 1959 and acquired by BFG in 1960. Polymer production was discontinued in 1985. Finally, S.
