Thermtool FR aeriea Include e Thermlnol FR 1.0 Temp, Therminol FR O and Therminol FR 1. Ae you are probably aware, the Therminol FR aeriea containa polychlorinated biphenyla (PCB) of varioua typea. Aa you are undoubtedly aware, the PCB concentration in our environment her increaaingly come under the acrutiny of varioua governmental agenctea and actentific laboratortea. In aome atudtea, certain PCBe have been found to be per alatent, an environmental contaminant and, possibly, injurious to certain forma of bird, aquatic and animal life. Accordingly, it la very important that PCBe be kept out of the food chain. Effective immediately, we are inetituting a policy of reatrlcting ealea t>.' the Therminol FR aeriea to existing heat tranefer ayeteme which are preaently utilising the Thermlnol FR aeriea and do not involve food or food related producta. We would appreciate your discontinuing the use of the Tharmlnol FR series in any new equipment salee and discontinuing any recommendation of the Therminol FR aeries in your literature. In accordance with this policy, the Therminol FR aeriea will no longer be available to your firm. Wa would like to point out, however, that certain Monsanto producta which are sold under the Thermlnol trademark, namely, Therminol 55, 66, 77 and 88 do not contain PCBe and will continue to be available for new heat transfer ayeteme as well aa for replacements of existing systems.
