Low in initial cost, both provide greater sound absorption per dollar than most other commonly used acoustical materials; their fire resistance is another important advantage. They may be applied in a variety of pleasing finishes combined with medium to high light reflection properties. HI-LITE Acoustical Plaster is pure white, making it partic ularly adaptable for use in scnoois and office buiicl.ngs where light reflectance and efficiency of illumination are important considerations. Its relatively high moisture resistance makes it an excellent choice for acoustical treatment in natatoriums and other areas in which high humidities are anticipated. Hi-Lite Acoustical Plaster resists migration of rust stains. It may be applied over properly prepared sanded gypsum plaster or portland cement-lime plaster basoboats; develops a harder finished surface than many acoustical materials. When stippled and perforated, Hi-Lite exhibits outstanding sound absorption performance at the lower frequencies. Formulated for hand application only. It may be redeco rated without appreciably reducing sound characteristics, and may be vacuum cleaned. AUDICOTE Acoustical Plaster is a low-cost acoustical materia! designed for either machine or hand application over a wide range of surfaces.
